Building on the milestone achieved in 2002—when RIMSA launched the world’s first LED surgical lamp—the same advanced principles have been applied to veterinary medicine.

Key features of the Mastiff surgical light include:

• Glare-free illumination: Thanks to 2R technology, glare from the illuminated dome is completely eliminated. This dual-reflection optical collimation system also maximizes the light emission surface.
• Compensation area to reduce black spots: The annoying black spot effect caused by direct glare is further minimized by a low-intensity light area around the surgical field. This helps ease the visual transition from high to low brightness zones.
• Easy maneuverability: The dome has been designed for a comfortable grip. The light intensity can be adjusted directly by the surgeon during procedures using a touch control on the sterile handle.
